Creating a new way to tell what day it was is always fun, but at the same time can be quite challenging. The creator must be able to give the infomation needed in a manner whaich is both quick and easy to understand, yet different.

For this calendar I came up with a design incorporating the phases of the moon matched to the appropriate day in the lunar cycle. I also found a collection of poems about the moon, many of them asian in origin, and included a few of them to go along with the graphics.
