Millions of fish and other sea creatures die every year after eating the waste humans put into their oceans. Animals not only eat broken pieces of colorful plastic floating on the current, but the toxins leached from the refuse are filtered through their gills and absorbed into their bodies. These toxic fish are then eaten by larger fish and eventually, by us.
This is intended as an outdoor design, for bus kiosks, billboards, bus ads, and other commuter signage. As they wait in transit, people get an idea of the direct impact their use of plastic, in this case bottles, can have on them. They can see that their bodies are in danger from something we all need to survive - our own food.
